Over the past year Air Jordan sneakers made by Nike have been the talk of every town, it’s not hard to walk outside and not see someone wearing a pair of Jordan sneakers!

The history of Air Jordan sneakers goes way back to the 1980’s when Michael Jordan first debuted the first ever Air Jordan 1 during a basketball game.

Since that first debut Nike ended up releasing 35 pairs that year. This was ultimately the start of something great.

For a while Air Jordans weren’t so hyped up, but these styles of shoes have made a huge comeback in the fashion world. These styles of shoes are also special because they do many collaborations with different brands that are extremely rare.

Many students here at Canyon High School can agree that Air Jordan’s are the most popular sneakers right now. Senior Ryan Leskin says that “ Nike sneakers are some of my favorite shoes because there are many unique different styles and color ways”.

As the new year has kicked off there are many anticipated sneakers of 2022 that sneaker lovers are looking forward to!
