After taking over the world with the releases of season 1 and 2, Outer Banks is back in the production stage for their third season! The OBX crew and cast are looking to pick up where they left off and keep the fans ready for another award winning season.
February 16th became the first day of filming, taking place in Charleston, South Carolina. The cast is set to end filming in August, making the release date at the end of 2022 or the beginning of next year.

The show will resume with the same plot, a group of friends chasing after millions of dollars in gold. Each of the five main characters: John B, Kie, Jj, Pope, and Sarah Cameron have developed their storylines over time leaving fans falling for each character. The show and cast have influenced people all over with their aesthetic and its seaside atmosphere.

However, the waves have not been the smoothest in Poguelandia. In late 2021, it was confirmed that lead characters, Chase Stokes and Madelyn Cline ended their relationship that started on the show. Fans were disheartened and stunned by the news. The couple dated for about 18 months before calling it quits.

Meanwhile, as the cast has recently reunited, pictures have circulated of the former power couple reuniting with rumors that the two have gotten back together. While it can be to keep the shows’ reign alive, fans are hoping that the pair have been rekindling their relationship.

Whatever the case may be, the fan bases’ main focus will be getting ten long awaited episodes with more drama and thrilling events. Because of the shocking cliffhanger that season 2 left off with, millions of viewers will undoubtedly be excited for what is to come.
