Winter Formal: A Night In New Orleans
The Winter Formal: A Night In New Orleans is right around the corner. It will be held on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023, in the gym. Here are some things to know if you are attending the dance. The tickets to enter the dance are $50 with an ASB card, and $60 without.
The dance will start at 7 p.m. and ends at 11 p.m. Students can be dropped off and picked up in the main parking lot. Once students enter the premises, they must stay until they are allowed to leave between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m.
Students will be checked by security before entering the dance, so make sure to bring your phone and ID card. Bags will not be allowed at the dance, so make sure to leave yours at home. They will not be selling anything at the dance, so there is no need to bring money.
If you are attending with someone who isn’t a Canyon student, make sure to have the guest contract signed, which needs to be turned in at the ASB office.
Because this is a formal event, students are expected to dress accordingly, so wear your best suit, tie, or dress. Make sure not to wear jeans or clothes that are inappropriate.
At the dance, there will be a candy bar where you can enjoy some delicious sweets, along with beverages like lemonade, hot cocoa, and water.
At the Winter Formal, the royals will be crowned. This dance is the only one throughout the year where two royals from the junior class will be crowned. Voting was held ahead of time and the results will be revealed at the dance.
If you have any additional questions about the dance, make sure to contact Senior Herincx at [email protected]. And remember: the main rule for the dance is to have fun!
