If you are looking for something fun to do for Halloween in Santa Clarita, look no further than Fright Fest at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia. This fun event is open for guests from Sept. 8 through Oct. 31. It starts at 5 p.m. and ends at midnight.
If you have gone to Fright Fest before, you may still want to check it out this year. Six Flags is celebrating the 30 year anniversary with eight themed haunted houses with the “Conjuring” and “SAW” film franchises. The rides are also available to ride during this time.
There are many ticket options if you are interested in attending Fright Fest. The Haunted Attractions Pass can cost $25 to $35 depending on the day you go. The Express Haunted Attractions Pass ranges from $45 to $75 depending on the day. On the weekends, it costs more.
If you are hungry, there are also many food options. They have chicken legs, mac and cheese, boneless wings with fries, and hot dogs. They also have stores that just sell chips, drinks and candy, but most of the stuff is rather pricey.
The rides and mazes are pretty fun at Fright Fest. The mazes are better than I thought they were going to be the last time I went. Even though the event is fun, the scare actors could do more scarring this year because when I went they were mostly walking around. Hopefully, with the new haunted houses and entertainment, this year will be even better than last year.
