In 2013, Ariana Grande took the world of pop by storm when releasing her first album “Yours Truly,” which debuted on the Billboard 200 shortly after its release. Some of the most popular songs that are still iconic include “The Way” featuring Mac Miller as well as “Right There” and “Baby I.” Many fans loved this album, as 98% of people said they liked this album.
Because of its popularity and iconicness, fans were excited when Ariana Grande announced that she would release “Yours Truly (Tenth Anniversary Edition)” on Aug. 20, 2023, exactly 10 years after the initial release.
This 10-year deluxe album features not only the original songs, but also her “Live From London” versions of multiple songs, a new version of “The Way,” and videos from her “Live From London” set on her Instagram and YouTube account.
On a more touchy note, this album honors her late boyfriend Mac Miller, who died from an overdose in 2018. Her song “The Way,” featuring Miller, was released on the deluxe edition of the album with a new rendition.
This version has violins and various orchestral instruments in the background, which replace the original instrumental that was in the back. On her YouTube channel, she subtly pays homage to Miller by fading the letters at the end of the video, leaving the words “featuring Mac Miller.”
In addition to the deluxe edition of the album, Grande released a Q&A session, new merchandise, and a special 10 years edition of “Yours Truly.”
