On Oct. 22, 2023, Taylor Swift cheered for Travis Kelce at the Kansas City football game.
At the game, Swift was spotted wearing a red Chiefs sweater and a bracelet featuring Kelce’s team number, 87, for her game-day attire. There was also a photo posted on Instagram of Swift kissing Kelce on the cheek.
Swift watched the game with Brittney Mahomes, Patrick Mahomes’ wife. They did a celebratory handshake with one another after the Chiefs scored a touchdown.
This isn’t the first time Swift has attended one of Kelce’s games; she has been spotted in a suite with Kelce’s family multiple times recently, attending five of his past games. In fact, when Swift attended the game on Oct. 1, it was the most-watched game of that week. This means that, with Swift attending more of these games, the Kansas City Chiefs will gain more fans and more advertisement.
In addition to attending the game, Swift and Kelce also went on a date in Kansas City to one of Kelce’s favorite restaurants, Piropos Restaurant. They reportedly got their own banquet room with curtains so fans wouldn’t disturb them, and it holds about 16 people. Before leaving the restaurant, Kelce signed a card for the restaurant owner’s grandson.
According to an eyewitness, there was a caravan of cars and security waiting for them outside. They were very gracious, said everything was great, and they thanked everyone before leaving Piropos.
Swift and Kelce were caught by paparazzi, and they took cute photos of them holding hands outside the restaurant. While fans of Swift have mixed opinions on her and Kelce’s relationship, they are both kindhearted toward fans.
