With Halloween slowly approaching, one of the most popular attractions in Santa Clarita has begun its biggest events of the year!

Six Flags Magic Mountain will be holding amazing events from Sept. 7 to Nov. 3.

Starting with the most popular, Fright Fest will be held throughout the whole duration of the events. There will be a total of 20 Haunted Houses and Scare Zones. Some of Haunted Houses include: Stranger Things, Army of the Dead, Trick ‘r Treat, SAW, The Conjuring Universe, Monstertainment, Eerie Eats, and so many more! Some of their new Scare Zones include: Underworlds of Oz, Plaza De La Muerte, and Grimmlore Ridge. Believe it or not, this whole event is sponsored and presented by Snickers!

The next event is another one of our town’s favorites, the Oktoberfest. This event mainly consists of food and drinks, and it is held every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. At this event, you can sit and enjoy a bunch of different German meals. Some of these entrees consist of bratwurst, kielbasa, beef frankfurter, German sliders, and tri-tip poutine.

Some of the popular side dishes include bratwurst on a stick, German potato salad, beer cheese mac, bavarian pretzel, and pretzel bites. Last but not least, their very famous desserts are franzbroetchen (cinnamon roll), pretzel ice cream, and German chocolate cake.

Now if you are looking for an event for your little ones, the Kids Boo Fest may be for them and is held Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This event includes fall festivities, such as trying to escape a maze, a trick-or-treat trail, and some family friendly rides to go on! Not only that, but there is a specific dessert made for the kids: ghoulish grub. The dessert consists of a cup filled with chocolate pudding, crushed oreos, and gummy worms to top it off.
