The Gilchrist Farm in the Santa Clarita Valley (SCV) is holding its annual pumpkin patch, just in time for Halloween. The well-known Gilchrist Farm Harvest Festival and Pumpkin Patch is located at 30116 Bouquet Canyon Rd.
The event is taking place from Sept. 28 to Oct. 31. Their hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays and weekends, and they are closed on Mondays.
Gilchrist Farm’s pumpkin patch will keep you busy with all the activities it offers, including farm animals to visit, pumpkins to pick, and many more activities for people of all ages.
This event provides various family-friendly activities, including archery, wagon rides, pony rides, and a straw bale maze, making it super fun. On the weekends, they offer cool experiences, such as goat milk demonstrations and pig races.
For some more interactive people, they host activities such as horseback riding, gem mining, and axe throwing. These activities will get you excited and you’ll have lots of fun.
This pumpkin patch has perfect pumpkins that are fresh and good quality. You can also do pumpkin painting! They also have treats such as roasted corn on the cob, caramel apples, and food trucks.
“Pets in the Patch” is a new event for photos of your pets that they added in October. This event is for any of your pets and is their photoshoot.
General admission is free along with parking. Weekday wristbands are $35 to $45 and get you into many of the attractions they host. Weekend wristbands are $45 to $55 and include certain activities.
