Six Flags Fright Fest is a limited-time event held at Six Flags Magic Mountain during the Halloween season. Each year, those seeking thrills and jump scares come and visit the theme park for a night of spooky fun.
This event has grown in popularity over the years, with its haunted mazes based on infamous movies such as “The Conjuring,” “Saw,” and “Trick ‘r Treat.” There are also bone-chilling scare zones and shows performed by actors dressed in terrifying costumes that help add to the alarming experience.
People wanting to join the excitement can buy a ticket on the official Six Flags website and choose between a day pass or a ticket that only includes the scary experience. These will grant you access to the park, with the Fright Fest opening ceremony beginning at around 7 p.m. Tickets to this event are available on select nights from Sept. 19 to Nov. 2.
While this event may seem light and fun, it is not for the faint of heart. While walking around the park, scare actors in nightmare-inducing ensembles sneak up, run up, or pop out of corners on unsuspecting visitors. Safe to say, young children or those who tend to be more squeamish may not want to participate in this Six Flags Festival!
If this isn’t terrifying enough for you, guests can also purchase the Haunted Attractions Pass, which unlocks a whole new level of horror. This pass allows you entrance into haunted houses and mazes that take you all around the park with unexpected and ghostly surprises.
Six Flags Fright Fest is a great way to kick off this fall season in an ominous way. If you’re looking for a spine-tingling adventure, Magic Mountain’s night of terror is perfect for you!
