After an awful year of dealing with COVID-19 and an unpromised season, basketball was finally able to commence. Canyon basketball players were forced to practice outside until they got the memo that season was going to happen. There are ten total league games in which five have already been played. After five hard-fought games, the cowboys are 1-4.

The Cowboys have their last five games to rematch their opponents, starting with Golden Valley on Friday, May 7.

There is still a pretty good chance of making the playoffs. With top scorers Matthew Heyne (11th), Brandon Boldroff (11th), Brody Baumgardner (11th), and Miles Davis (12th), there is no stopping Canyon from having a successful second half of the season!
