Warner Brother Games Montreal inc. announced their next big game called “Gotham Knights.”

“Gotham Knights” will have Batman’s main cast. The four characters you’ll have the opportunity to use are Dick Grayson as Nightwing, Jason Todd as Red Hood, Barbara Gordon as Batgirl and Tim Drake as Robin. There is a potential rumor of having Damian Wayne as the fifth character and a second Robin.

“Gotham Knights” will be a co-op game, but not for local play. There is a case for local co-op for the team to make it in the game in the future. For co-op online it supports four players, so you and three of your friends could play together online. Co-op online also works with fewer people, as the game will give you the best experience if it’s two or four players because the game is all about teamwork as a duo or a squad.

“Gotham Knight’s” story starts out by having Bruce Wayne aka Batman giving a final message to Nightwing, Red Hood, Batgirl and Robin. In the trailer you see it’s raining and a man standing in a dark alleyway while his phone is buzzing with a code black notification. The Mysterious man is Jason Todd. Jason opens the notification and instantly a video of Bruce starts playing. Bruce is telling them if they get this message it means that he is dead, Bruce continues talking and lets them know that Gotham’s villains will know that Batman is gone and start to go on a rampage and that it’s up to them to stop their evil deeds.

The villians that have been confirmed so far are Mr. Freeze, The Penguin and The Court of Owls. Mr. Freeze’s real name is Dr. Victor Fries and his powers survive in very low temperatures while his suit gives him superhuman strength. His weapon is a freeze ray that shoots out ice and can put his foes such as Batman in a block of ice. The Penguin’s is a criminal mastermind whose real name is Oswald Cobblepot He is skilled with and without weapons and mainly uses an umbrella with few gadgets.

The Court of Owls is a secret society crime group that has had control of Gotham for years. The Owls are human, not real owls. They wear an owl mask and are led by The Sensei. Sensei was secretly a member of the ancient and powerful secret assassin organization the League of Shadows and was Ra’s al Ghul’s second in command. The Owls seem to be the main villains of the game, it also seems that Mr. Freeze might not be a villain due to some things that happened in the previous games. The Penguin is shown talking to our protagonist but we don’t have too much information about his goals in the game.
