Super Bowl Halftime Show 2022
The Super Bowl halftime show of 2022 had some huge expectations thanks to the rumors started back in September about Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg performing in the annual event alongside Eminem and Kendrick Lamar.
You can’t have a Super Bowl game without a halftime show, featuring famous artists to get all the spectators hyped up for the most important game in the league.
This year’s event had a 90’s theme that brought nostalgia to all the millennials, leaving them screaming and shouting the lyrics of their childhood songs. The audience’s reactions made the halftime show all the more exciting, and will leave a mark as one of the most memorable Super Bowls yet.
Artists Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, 50 Cent, and Mary J. Blige took the stage at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. As natives of Southern California, it was no surprise that Dre, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, and Lamar delivered a great performance.
The show was kicked off with Dre and Snoop Dogg’s iconic song, “The Next Episode” and later finished with their unforgettable song “Still D.R.E.” Other songs include, “California Love”, “In Da Club”, “Family Affair”, “Alright”, “Forget About Dre”, and “Lose Yourself”.
Back in September, Fans were so excited when they heard about the rappers that would be featured. With all the built up hype forming back in 2021, it was definitely worth the wait.
