Why is the saga so popular? Ask yourself that. It might be the first person perspective, or maybe because the animatronics are cool, it could also be that the stories and theories are fun to keep up with, or people just like to get scared.

The most common reason is because of the puzzling theories and events going on inside of Freddy Fazbears Pizzeria. The very puzzling storyline is mostly explained through the minigames. Inside of each game of the saga, you can also get a pretty solid idea of the game by reading the novels.

You play as a night guard working the night shift from monday night to friday night trying to survive from 5 or more killer animatronics using doors, lights, snares, temperature, and noise. The animatronics are somehow possessed by the spirits of kids who were murdered in the back of the pizzaria.

Let’s meet the animatronic band: Freddy; possessed by Gabriel, the star of the show, he’s a brown bear with a microphone who is the lead singer of the band, Bonnie; possessed by Jeremy blue bunny who plays his tunes on an electric guitar, Chica; possessed by Susie, she’s a yellow chicken who is a secondary singer for the band, she holds a talking cupcake that sings along with the band. And Foxy; possessed by Fritz, a red pirate fox with a peg leg and an eyepatch.

Throughout the games the animatronics traits change from original all the way to nightmare. There are 12 games in the “FNAF” franchise : “Five Nights at Freddy’s”: “1”, “2”, “3”, “4,” “World,” “Sister Location,” “Pizzaria Simulator,” “Ultimate Custom Night,” “Help Wanted,” “Special Delivery,” “Freddy in Space,” and “Security Breach.”

All of these games were developed by Scott Cawthon, who unforeseenly retired from making any more games. Most of all these games have similar gameplay. Don’t die from the animatronics. Some people die on purpose to see the awesome jumpscares.

These games are really thrilling and fun to play so hopefully someone will take Scott Cawthon’s place as developer.
