Since the internet’s early days, pet owners have shared pictures of their cats doing things like making funny faces, acting crazy, or attacking each other in a playful manner. Today, there are countless of these pictures all across the web, so I have made it my mission to deliver a list of the top five silly cats on the internet!
At number five is a cat commonly referred to as the Happy Happy Happy Cat. On Nov. 18, 2015, twitter user @1Nssu shared a video of a cat he saw at a pet store. The cat started jumping up and down upon seeing the man filming.
This cat’s joy at potentially being adopted has filled many people’s hearts with how happy and cute it is. Unfortunately, not much else is known about this cat, but I personally am glad that the world got to see this moment.
Coming in at number four is Apple Cat, also known as @goodnight.meowstar on TikTok. This cat is one of the most underrated cats, as it is often not mentioned as much as the rest on this list; however, I think that this cat’s silly appearance is still one of the best out there.
The cat is known for resting its head on things such as apples or tomatoes. I personally really love these pictures because of the happiness on the cat’s face while having its apple. The cat’s owner also does things such as cleaning and petting it in these videos. These videos add to the overall cuteness.
At number three is Jinx, also known as @bigfootjinx on social media. This may not be the only black cat on this list, but she still has her own incredibly unique personality and style. Jinx is known for a face she makes where her eyes go very wide. This, combined with her stance, makes up her silly and surprised appearance.
Coming down to the last two, number two is a fan favorite, Uni the Tuxedo Cat or @unicouniuni on TikTok. Uni has a super adorable fur pattern, making him appear like he is wearing a tuxedo. He also has very big and round eyes with a very elegant orange color.
Uni is loved by many around the world for his distinguishing features and always happy expression. He appears very fancy and respectful, adding to his cute and silly personality.
Before I talk about number one, there is an honorable mention. This list would not feel complete without mentioning Kevin the Mohawk Cat. Kevin was known for having an incredibly funny personality and his iconic mohawk. Kevin sadly passed away in late October of 2023. I did not put him in a ranking out of respect for him and his owner. He will forever be remembered and loved. Rest in peace, Kevin.
Finally, coming in at number one is my personal favorite silly cat, Milly the Bleh Cat, also known as @fatfatmillycat. Milly is known most commonly for pictures of her sticking her tongue out, which is where the “bleh” name comes from.
Milly has an adorable personality, and the pictures her owner shares show a variety of different expressions, with them all being equally silly or adorable as her famous “bleh” picture. I highly recommend checking out Milly’s various social media accounts to stay up to date on her activities and see new pictures that her owner shares.
