After an intense bracket of football (soccer) games, the UEFA Champions League has finally come to the very last game between Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and Inter Milan. Many fans are excited to see this final as both teams are not seen often at this stage of the tournament. Both PSG and Inter have not won a Champions League in the last 10 years, with both teams only reaching the finals once.
From the semi-final matchups, the PSG versus Arsenal games were not very exciting. PSG obviously won, but the Inter versus Barcelona match up had fans around the world tuning in, even if they do not support either team. Ending 7-6 on Aggregate, Inter pulled off the win at the very end.
The final matchup was decided and will be played on May 31, 2025. Many fans are hyped to watch and predict how the game will go. Both teams have very good recent match histories, with PSG losing only one out of the last five games and Inter losing none.
Additionally, while most of PSG’s crucial players are in form, Inter’s main striker, Lautaro Martinez, is currently injured and will likely miss the game. This fact alone has led to many thinking PSG will win the Champions League. Inter definitely have a stronger defense, which could ultimately lead them to stopping PSG’s attacks with PSG’s Ousmane Dembélé and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
With PSG’s strong offensive line-up and Inter’s intense defensive strengths, this year’s final is sure to be one of the best in recent years.
