Rihanna and A$AP ROCKY are expecting a baby in 2022
Rihanna, the famed “Diamonds” singer, has given the world countless presents over her career. She is a well-known musician, actress, cosmetics and lingerie magnate, billionaire, and Barbados’ national hero.
For weeks, Rihanna has been the subject of pregnancy rumors when she was seen wearing baggy clothing and concealing her tummy with big bags. Meanwhile, the artist was sure to leave no doubt as she posed for a paparazzi picture shoot in New York City in a long, unbuttoned pink coat that showed her stomach.
She is ready to add a new title to her list of accomplishments: motherhood. The 33-year-old international phenomenon is expecting her first child with Rakim Mayers, also known as the famous rapper A$AP Rocky.
Meanwhile, photos of the couple walking and holding hands in New York City went viral on Twitter, revealing her pregnancy as well as the couple’s engagement. The news quickly spread across social media and celebrity-focused news outlets.
The actual date of the power couple’s relationship is unknown, but they’ve been friends for about a decade and are rumored to have married in the fall of 2020. They made their red carpet debut at the Met Gala in September, which garnered a lot of attention while remaining very low-key.
In May during an interview, Rocky referred to Rihanna as “The One” when asked how their relationship compares to his previous partners. Rihanna had earlier noted that she is ready to become a mother and that she plans to have numerous children over the next decade. She had planned to start a family on her own if it hadn’t been for A$AP.
The Bajan diva implied in the caption of the Instagram photo that she and A$AP Rocky had timed the announcement to align with Black History Month.
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky haven’t revealed any more information regarding the pregnancy, and it’s unclear how far along Rihanna is. The baby is expected to arrive in the spring, according to rumors, and if A$AP continues to praise Rihanna, she may be thrown out of the “Single Ladies” group.
