Disneyland in Paris

Valentine’s Day recently passed, and many people planned something special for their loved ones. There are many different places to go and things to do with your partner on Feb. 14. Even though there are so many things to do, many people enjoy going to an event called “Disneyland After Dark: Sweethearts’ Nite.”

Disneyland hosts this event once a year starting on Jan. 31, and only continues on some days in February ending on Feb. 16. After 9 p.m., Disney closes down the park for the event, and it ends at 1 a.m. Tickets are sold for about $129 per guest.

Apart from all the usual delicious food Disneyland offers, there are a couple of dishes that you can only purchase during Sweethearts’ Nite. Strawberry shortcake sundae, chocolate-strawberry funnel cakes, birria loaded steak fries, and blood orange agua floats are the special offerings.

Besides the rides they offer, there are also many other entertainments. Their most-enjoyed entertainments are the firework show, Royal Ball, and Moonlit River Cruise.

Camille Whiting, a blogger who attended the event, explains more about the event. According to Whiting, there is a “Disneyland firework show, but set to love songs!” The Royal Ball is “An amazing band plays Disney songs and at least three royal couples dancing the night away.” As part of the Moonlit River Cruise, “The Mark Twain boat converted into a romantic moonlit cruise and is a 20-minute ride.”

Many people enjoy this event and leave Disneyland on a positive note. Jacqueline Adan, another blogger who attended the event, wrote, “In my opinion, it was absolutely worth the money for a ticket.”

David Erickson, from the popular Disneyland blog and YouTube channel Fresh Baked Disney, says, “I was pretty happy with how much we got done, Liz and I had a night that we could not have had without the event.”

If you are planning to go to “Disneyland After Dark: Sweethearts’ Nite” in the future, make sure to buy the tickets in advance, because they sell out really fast.
