As the MLB season continues, Dodgers fans are thrilled about how the team has performed so far. The Dodgers played an exciting game against the Rockies on Sept. 10, 2025.
In this game, they were able to bring Alex Vesia, who was on the injured list for 17 days, back into the bullpen. His injury, a right oblique strain, occurred when the team was warming up. Vesia, a pitcher, had to sit out for a couple of games, but was able to make a quick recovery and play again.
The Dodgers played the Rockies again the next day on Sept. 11, 2025. The Dodgers won the game 9-0, making for a slow show. The starting pitcher for the Dodgers was Blake Snell, who was able to make a total of 11 strikeouts and two walks. Snell was also able to pitch six strong innings during the game.
Additionally, Mookie Betts hit a grand slam in the eighth inning, and Teoscar Hernández followed with a solo home run.
Even though they have played against many teams throughout their season, such as the Phillies, Pirates, and Diamondbacks, the Dodgers have played against the Atlanta Braves the most. The Atlanta Braves and the Dodgers have played a total of six games against each other so far this season. The Dodgers won every game against the Atlanta Braves except one; that game took place on May 4, 2025, with a final score of 3-4.
The Dodgers have a total of 85 wins and 67 losses in their season so far. Their record qualifies for first place in the NL West division.
As the season continues, the Dodgers have their schedule lined up of which teams they will play. Recently, on Sept. 12, 2025, they played away at Oracle Park against the San Francisco Giants at 7:15 p.m. The Dodgers unfortunately lost to the Giants, with a final score of 1-5.
As Dodgers fans, we can only hope that they can continue to win games and eventually become champions again. Make sure to root for the Dodgers and watch their games this season!
