Parker Franco, Staff Writer
Parker Franco is a staff writer for the Pony Express, and is a freshman. They were not interested in doing journalism at all, but when their schedule got mixed up they were put into the class anyways. Parker has decided to stay in the class for they didn’t know how much they would enjoy writing for the school paper. Some of their hobbies included reading, crocheting, and playing with their dog Scotty. They also enjoy camping and being outdoors with family and friends. Even with not wanting to pursue with journalism in the first place, they are grateful for the opportunity they were given and the many amazing friends they’ve made in class that kept rooting for them to stay.
