La Texana, an indie artist born in Tijuana, Mexico, started making music at the age of 17. He was inspired by Spanish alternative rock and post-punk music. His music career started simply with a guitar and a computer.
As he found his rhythm, his music started to blossom, and he ended up releasing his first single in 2021 named “Nunca he sabido amar.” After two more years of making music, he released his first EP in 2023 named “Morro.” This EP gained a lot of popularity due to its post-punk norteno music sound. In 2025, he released his first full-length album named “la casa que cae.” This album ended up being a huge success, which led to La Texana going on tour in May 2025. Tickets were sold out left and right!
This year, La Texana announced he will be doing an extensive tour from February to July of 2026. As of now, he plays songs from his new album “la casa que cae,” and many more of his other popular songs from other albums he has written. His tour spans over 40 cities in Mexico.
On March 22, La Texana performed at the Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles with LosGothsCo as their opening DJ, San Charbel, and TWIN ION ENGINE as openers to the show. The concert had an amazing turnout, and tickets sold out at the door.
The venue was small, yet beautiful. There was a VIP section with seating in addition to a small section in the corner for merch, which included shirts, CDs, bags, and more.
La Texana opened his concert with his song “Estrés” from his “Morro” EP. The song set the vibe for the show, and everyone went crazy. The show featured a mix of his romantic music, as well as his alternative songs.
Once La Texana started playing his most popular song “No sé qué me pasó,” the crowd went crazy, and an impromptu mosh pit spontaneously started in the middle of the theatre. One person even started crowd surfing! Needless to say, the crowd was pumped and enjoyed his music to the fullest.
If you like alternative music and Spanish music, you should definitely give him a listen, and go check him out on social media. If you ever find yourself bored, check if La Texana or any of his openers are having a concert. He can definitely put on a show!
