Freshman, Josie Regez, is one of the many students at Canyon High School with a creative outlet. Outside of school, along with hobbies such as basketball and caring for her pets, Regez owns an Etsy business: Wilburst Pins.

“I started my business in 7th grade, but really developed it when quarantine started since it gave me the ability to spend more time making new products and fulfill more orders,” Regez said.

She sells a wide variety of handmade items from masks to stuffed animals to hats, but her highlighted products are her pins. Her pins feature trendy designs such as Among Us characters, and cute cartoon foods like chicken nuggets and potatoes.

Josie started this business in junior high with the intent of having extra money, but as her business progressed, she has reached over 500 sales! Now, she sees it as an opportunity to learn more about the finance and business career paths first hand.
